Sitting in the back row of the annual Haro Sales Meeting down here at the beach in Carlsbad. Each year Haro flys all of their outside sales reps from around the world to show off our line for the upcoming year....
Currently on day 3 and a bit burned out from preperation for this event as well as the thought of leaving for Taiwan tonight at midnight. Yesterday, Jill (Haro mountain bike Brand Manager) and Tim (Masi Brand Manager) had to do a 2 hour presentation each talking about the 2009 line of bikes. Tony D is in the middle of his presentation right now [rambling on] ... Colin McKay flew in to help Tony with his presentation so it's pretty cool to listen to. Chris (BMX Product manager) and I will get out of here around 1 or 2pm, just in time to go home for a few hours to unwind and then off to LAX we go for the 14 hour leg burn to Taiwan. I'm not looking forward to the next 24 hours, to say the least. We actually depart LAX at 1:30am tonight (Sunday morning) and we arrive 14 hours later at like 7am Taiwan time on Monday morning just in time to go from the airport to the hotel for a moment and start our work day. Apparently Sunday does not exist for Chris and I this weekend. I'll do a couple updates while I'm in Taiwan with funny photos. Out for now.
