So RM59 finally got around to linking my site up for me so I could add content to my other pages. My "Bikes" and "Sponsors" pages are now working which is what I've been trying to get done for a while....
I'm pretty psyched it's up and running and I'll finish the Bio & Links pages soon. Hope your weekend is going as good as mine. It's perfect weather here and RM59 is shredding Dance Dance Revolution in the other room so I'm about to go show him who's the champ.
Anyway, been riding Sheep lately. Had a really good session out there 2 days ago with TB and after he left, the Intense boys showed up with big Leo. We had fun until it was almost dark and then we rode back to the car and Duder Chad showed up. He just wanted to show up and make an appearance since he's big time. So he also graced Leo and I with his presence at KFC. What a guy!
So yesterday I went down to Sheep after the gym and met up with Javier, Ramiro and Cristian. Usually when you jump a section called Boozer, named after infamous Boozer who's always drunk but one of the best dudes around, you hit a 4 pack then a right hand berm and then a 6 pack. A lot of the kids like to go through the section by pedaling through the infield and just jumping the 6 pack cause it's hard to make the turn after the 4 pack if you don't hit the outside o the turn. That said, I followed Cristian through the kiddie 6 pack and then on to Boozer. Ramiro was right behind me. We were doing it with no pedals just railing the turns and I hit the turn too far inside and started sliding out right before the first lip of the 6 pack and bailed. I thought Ramiro was going to land on me but he didn't. He made it fine and then had to bail on the next set so we were both dirty and laughing our ass off and just as we're dusting ourselves off this kid comes pedaling through the infield on a K-mart 20" bike, like a Magna or something. Just as he goes off the lip Javier was like, "oh oh oh!." We didn't even see him coming and I look just as he goes off the lip with about half the speed he needed. At the last second he tried bailing but took a hard slam. It was hilarious. He could of got really hurt but he was thankfully ok. I guess his friends bet him 10 bucks that he wouldn't jump it so he did it. Crazy. This all happened within a 1 minute period and my abs hurt so bad from laughing for like 10 minutes.
Anyway, I rode to the Beach today on my roadbike and the weather is insane. Going to go suck up some sun tomorrow so I'm psyched. Updates soon.
