Don't get me wrong, I love to go to the track and the gym, do sprints and ride road bikes but I kinda forgot how much fun I used to have riding TJ's yard and other trail spots we had in Vegas. I rode with Cristian at Sheep the other day and he kills the place. Makes it so effortless. It's good right now, most of the sections are pretty racer style where you've gotta have good pump or you're going to struggle, and then there is the K.O.D section which is running again, where you can get some good boost going or throw down some stunts. Cristian pretty much links the place up without taking pedals, it's crazy. It took me a couple days riding there to be dialed in like him but I think he still makes it look easier than I do.
Today I rode some trails in Carlsbad with Chris from Haro. Happy Birthday to him today. Big 65 but still shredding. Ha. TonyD gave me a new bike. Premium Three Ring. Premium is basically the same brand as Haro. It started out as Haro's sister company of mainly components, now they have complete bikes. It is such a good bike for straight out of the box. Back when I was growing up (i sound old saying that), all complete bikes were wack. You had to at least change the cranks and handlebars no matter what. Haro and Premium have really stepped up. Click the little picture to check it out. It comes with Premium Three peice crank, the pivitol seat and post combo and the same handlebar and stem I used on my race bike last year (until I went to a wider bar). I'm going to ride it bone stock and probably give it to some kid at the trails once the 2008 bikes come in.
Anyway, It's 1am. This daylight savings time has really thrown my schedule off. I was doing pretty good going to bed at a decent hour there for a minute. New Game songs on my playlist for the week. Me and Rental Car G like listening to the Game.. check em out. . _dB
