Giving back

|
2007racebike.jpgSorry for the lack of updates. This weekend I built a new race bike, and decided to give back to the sport that has given so much to me by donating my 2007 race bike to the ABA in which they will hold a contest.....

Winner gets the bike. I'm not sure what they have planned really as I came up with the idea while I was building my new bike and gave it to Shannon & Dan at the ABA the next day (Saturday at the Lake Perris national). The bike is almost exact to how I raced it. Haro SR20 Pro frame that was made custom for me in 21" t/t. Sinz chromo fork, DXR hubs with Alex rims, DXR 180 cranks, DXR brakes, Shimano Clip pedals, Shimano chain, THE seat, Premium bars, S&M Redneck LT stem, quick release seat clamp, Intense Tires... it's pretty Gucci. I don't really care what the contest has to do with as long as it goes to a kid whos current bike is a hooptie. As long as some kid is psyched I'm psyched.

The other bike is my sprint bike which is identical besides it has chrome rims and Saint cranks just to switch it up a little. A huge thank you to Ruben at Bike Alley in Orange County for building my wheels and thanks to Pete D for the rims. Very much appreciated guys.

I'm out for now. Going to the gym tonight with Sheriff 59 and I'm off to Vegas in the morning. Talk to you guys soon! _dB
