What's going down?  My updates are non-existent lately but I have been updating the Haro blog fairly often. Make sure and check that out here. Work is going great. It's so rad when you can create something other people are psyched on....

Taiwan round 2.

|
Happy Halloween. Tomorrow is destination Taichung, Taiwan. Can't wait to feel the leg burn. My good DB_3346.jpg friend and also co-worker that I travel with, Chris Raceles, is scared to bring his bike and/or drive a car in Taiwan. We are at the mercy of cab and bus drivers and it's a pretty sketchy place when it comes to careless driving. I'd be down to drive for sure, but Chris has gone soft in his old age so we'll be in the yellow cab. Updates to come. photo Jasen Krenek - MJT Designs

2010 Bike

2010db44.jpg

It's still a little early, but this is Haro 2010 for you bmxicans. This is my current sample bike and she rides amazing. 21" top tube, 15.25 rear to center, 11.5" bottom bracket, 74 degree head tube. I plan to change the semi integrated head tube to fully integrated but otherwise it's off the chain. Come by the Haro trailer at ABA Grands and check check check it. Click photo to enlarge.

Mexico last weekend.

|
Saturday night I went out with Leo and Frenchie Fred downtown San Diego. At 2am when clubs were shutting down we made the poor decision to go to mexico and continue the party night. Lets just say it is wild over there and after hearing plenty of horror stories it's probably not a good idea to ever go to Mexico.....

Subweird.

During my work week I frequent Subway for healthy eating. Lately I've been running into the weirdest people during my visits. Yesterday was a mid 40's construction worker, and today was another mid 40's geek. . .. ....

I suck at updates I decided. Finally work life has calmed down a little after the Interbike burn out. It's funny that just 7 years or so I was sneaking into Interbike, and the last few years I was psyched when Interbike was in town cause I got to catch up with friends that I don't get to see very often, now I hope Interbike never comes again....

Haro Team Issue bike

|
team_issue.jpgThe frame that I helped design (Color/Graphic/Geometry) that is now called the "Team Issue" because it's probably not a good idea to name a frame after someone who spends most of their time working instead of riding, is going to be available through Dans Comp in the next couple months. I can't remember the last time Haro sold frames seperately but I'm stoked on it. The frame is going to come with a headset and the best part is, it's going to kill all of it's competition in not only look, but it will be available for around $150.00 RETAIL price! We've placed the order for frames and as soon as they're here, Khalen and I will be riding them and so should you! Shred.

If you haven't seen this site yet, go check it out for some comedy. Chris D has too much time on his hands but I love the entertainment so had to plug it. Stop by the Haro Booth for the 30th Anniversary beer bash Chris! How much for advertising on the site?

Race bike?

|
Picture 038.jpgNope. My new Premium "Low-pez" built with all Premium Parts. If you're not aware, Premium is the core sister company to Haro Bikes. This complete bike is 21.5 lbs (with brakes) and 21 flat without. Frame alone is 3.3 lbs.  That is light even for a race bike. Check it out at Interbike booth 3957.
